Slingshot noob with a few questions Which bands do you recommend for a slingshot rifle, for speed & power, flat or tubes?. I know all professionals use flat bands with small handheld slingshots. But as you said, flat bands have less pull weight, thus producs a steadier hand thus geater accuracy. But that variable becomes irrelevant when using a slingshot rifle. So, all variables being equal (hand steadiness, ammo weight etc) , which bands ultimately provide the most speed? Are flat bands faster per se (using standard slingshot ammo) because of their design shape and size? Or would using spear gun rubber produce more speed with a slingshot rifle?

Love my Scout X, but once I got the Scout LT2 I haven’t picked up any other. It’s a great combination of the X and LT.

This might sound crazy but the only reason I really wanted one was for self defense since guns are illegal where I am and I was wondering if this would be an effective tool for my needs. Also...54 grain 3/8 balls were outshooting 40 grain 1/2" marbles by 50 yards....1/4" steel almost as far as the 3/8...

I found that .6mm shoots as far as .8mm bands....faster retraction/fps...also 50mm wide at the forks to 20mm wide at that pouch folded to make 25mm by 10mm...works better than triple bands....folding them over fantastic...little longer bands shoot farther...

I heard clay ammo for pigeon hunting is good because it does, most of the time, kill the game and it doesn’t make you leave solid metal ammo all over the place in areas such as farms, lumber mills and places where pigeons are not welcome. How effective clay ammo is with pigeons, I don’t know other than a couple videos I’ve seen.

Very helpful ! I got one last year for Christmas, and had to use a spreader bar clamp and two pieces of wood inside the bottom section to get mine completed... it's a great catchbox !

OTT for me but I tie the pouch and bands together myself so they give me a thin straight line edge without the twist in the band. That helps me aim better, when I can make the bands a nice straight laser line, in-line with my target.

Hi Nathan it's Bob Bussiere again, Speaking of lanyards, I have a way to improve your accuracy when you are shooting in slingshot tournaments. Put your hand through the lanyard and twist your slingshot until it is comfortably tight around your wrist, and then when you pull back to shoot you will be as steady as a rock! Try it and let me know how it works?

I like both set ups but I always end up shooting threw the forks. For myself it's more natural. I mean each to their own. Keep em coming

Amazing video! I learned a lot here. I did not know you could set it up for through the forks. Tuning was a huge game changer for me. I’ve been practicing a lot without tuning at all, I just used the band it came with and I guess I even had those installed wrong! Now I know how to install bands correctly as well (flat bands) and it’s not very much of a guessing game anymore. I could kinda group shots NEAR the targets before tuning and installing correctly, now I believe I’m hitting targets due to these rules. I’m brand new, talking 2 weeks into training and only just leaning about tuning. My draw length is 27 inches. I like the palm swell. I do NOT like the feel of the frame without it; it’s awkward feeling but I do really like the idea of it being lighter, low-profile and am going to customize to make it comfy and still work with the swells. I am considering stippling it just to give it a personality, it is grippy enough and not practically necessary.

It would be so "simple "I the fabric had the front(or back pice) flaps open and have velcro on the corners. Then slide the frame into the box, get the velcro flaps down and done🙆‍♂🤦‍♂
